Maxx Crosby’s Fiery Response After Loss Sparks Buzz Amid Trade Rumors

Maxx Crosby is not a fan of losing and sounded off after the Las Vegas Raiders dropped a fifth consecutive game on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Raiders were clobbered by the Bengals in a 41-24 loss with nothing going right on both sides of the ball. Cincinnati racked up 373 yards of total offense and capitalized on a pair of turnovers from the Raiders.

Las Vegas hasn’t won since beating the Cleveland Browns in Week 4 – a game that Crosby did not play in. The Raiders are in last place in the AFC West and after the loss, Crosby sounded off on the team’s lack of success.

“It (expletive) sucks to lose five in a row,” Crosby said. “Got to control what we can control. Everyone’s got to look in the mirror.”

Crosby has been a name mentioned in trade rumors, although the team has done their best to shoot down any of that talk. However, Crosby’s statement sparked some buzz that he could potentially be on the move ahead of the trade deadline on November 5.

“Clean house, Raiders,” one fan said. “Trade Maxx and get 2-3 firsts.”

Another added: “If I’m the Raiders, I’m trading Crosby for 2-3 1st round picks while I can. We need a lot of moves this offseason and in the draft to be competitive. Trade while he still has value and start rebuilding the offense.” The Detroit Lions would be a prime destination for Crosby.

The Lions lost star pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson to a fractured left tibia and fibula. However, Detroit is rumored to be close to trading for Cleveland Browns defensive end Za’Darius Smith.

Crosby has recorded 26 tackles and 6.5 sacks this season.
