Micah Parsons Says The Giants Didn’t Appreciate Saquon Barkley

The Philadelphia Eagles made one of the biggest signings of the offseason by acquiring Saquon Barkley.

At the time, Barkley seemed disgruntled with the New York Giants, which was why the Eagles were able to snatch him from their divisional rival.

The Giants were seemingly unwilling to pay Barkley what he wanted to get paid, and the Eagles opened their checkbook for him.

This signing has worked out quite well for the Eagles, as Barkley is having one of the best seasons of his career.

With this in mind, in a recent episode of his podcast, former NFC East athlete, Micah Parsons, talked about the Giants and how they mishandled this situation and Barkley’s contract.

“The Giants did not appreciate him. And now, the rest of the league is facing the consequences of the Giants’ stupidity,” Parsons said.

Parsons appears frustrated with the Giants, as the Dallas Cowboys rival has one of the best running backs in the league at their disposal.

The Eagles had a decent rushing attack before Barkley came into the fold, but he’s unlocked an entirely new level.

The combination of him and Jalen Hurts is lethal against even the best rushing defenses in the league.

Barkley has already contributed a lot to the Eagles through the midway point of the season, but he’s just getting started.

The Eagles have started to turn things around, record-wise, and are hoping they can catch the Washington Commanders in the division race.
