Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer said star guard Bradley Beal experienced left calf tightness in Phoenix’s 120-112 win over the Utah Jazz Tuesday.
Beal subbed out with 7:19 remaining and did not return after notching 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting (4-of-7 from 3), four assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block in 29 minutes. This win was the first of a back-to-back for Phoenix (9-2), as it travels to Sacramento to take on the Kings Wednesday.
“We’ll see how he does. How he wakes up. What the medical team has for us tomorrow,” Budenholzer said of Beal’s status against Sacramento (via The Arizona Republic‘s Duane Rankin).

Just one game prior in Sunday’s 127-118 overtime loss to the Kings, Beal went down with a knee injury in overtime, but played through it and was not on the injury report heading into Tuesday’s matchup. Additionally, Beal has dealt with a right elbow injury that sidelined him for two games earlier this season.
“Just got tight on me. I think it was probably a little lingering from the knee injury last game. It should be alright. A little precautionary. Got one tomorrow,” Beal said.

The Suns are already without Kevin Durant (left calf strain) indefinitely and starting center Jusuf Nurkić missed Tuesday’s win with left ankle soreness. Devin Booker, who had 31 points against Utah, was involved with a knee-to-knee collision with John Collins late in the fourth quarter, but said in his postgame interview he was fine.
