The Indiana Pacers have earned a lot of fans over the last few seasons, partly because of their exciting, explosive offense.
That offense is usually led by the team’s star player, Tyrese Haliburton.
Sadly, Haliburton isn’t looking like a star right now.
According to Evan Sidery, Haliburton is averaging 15.3 points and 8.5 assists this season, averaging a 50.0 percent true shooting rating and 28.4 percent from the three-point line.
As noted by Sidery, Haliburton is the only starting guard in the league with a 50 percent or less true shooting rating while playing 30+ minutes per game.

Last season, Haliburton put up 20.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and a league-high 10.9 assists per game.
He has definitely fallen into a rut, and people are wondering how long it’ll last.
The Pacers have a 6-9 record right now and are sitting around the ninth seed in the East.
If they are going to climb higher than that, Haliburton will need to get his act together and play like the All-Star he was last year.
He is currently making a ton of money from the Pacers, but he isn’t playing like someone who deserves it.
Haliburton isn’t the first NBA star to begin a season roughly, but Pacers fans have come to expect more from him.
Indiana has just lost two in a row to the Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets.
They will next face the Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards, and New Orleans Pelicans.
During Indiana’s last game, Haliburton scored four points, one rebound, and eight assists.
The team absolutely has to see more from him, or else they aren’t going anywhere this season.
