The Cleveland Guardians didn’t close out the season in the way they hoped for, but there are still plenty of reasons to feel excited about this team.
For starters, the starting rotation was quite good down the stretch, and it should only get better going forward.
With that in mind, Guardians Prospective shared the team’s potential rotation for next season.
Unsurprisingly, it features a six-man corps, with LHPs Joey Cantillo, Logan Allen, and Parker Messick, followed by RHPs Tanner Bibee, Slade Cecconi, and Gavin Williams.
An extremely early look at possible 2026 rotations across the entire Cleveland #Guardians organization down to the Arizona Complex League.
Went six deep at MLB level and 7-8 deep at minor league levels with possibly piggybacking.

The Guardians chose to roll with a six-man rotation to close out the season, and it worked like a charm.
That’s not to say that Stephen Vogt will take that same approach for the start of next year’s regular season, but it’s certainly a good problem to have.
Parker Messick looked like a legitimate superstar in the making, and Joey Cantillo proved why sending him back to Triple-A shortly was also the right move.
Tanner Bibee needs to have a bounce-back season after his campaign was plagued by inconsistency, and he knows he can and should do better.
But for the most part, this team should be more than covered in that regard.
If anything, the front office now needs to try to make some moves to add more firepower to the roster, as they really need another reliable slugger.
Still, with this rotation, a strong bullpen, and a plethora of young players ready to make an impact, the fans should be looking forward to the 2026 season already.
