Sunderland will aim to continue their impressive home form on Saturday when they host a crisis-ridden Wolves side still searching for their first Premier League win.
The newly-promoted Black Cats have made a superb start to the season. Wolves, in contrast, are rock bottom of the table. However, after securing draws in their last two matches, the visitors have shown some recent encouragement.

Team News
Sunderland
Régis Le Bris is dealing with a significant number of absences. First, defender Reinildo Mandava is suspended for this match. He also has a long injury list that includes both Habib Diarra and Romaine Mundle.
However, there is some positive news. Key defenders Omar Alderete and Noah Sadiki, who both picked up knocks on international duty, are expected to be fit. The manager confirmed both have recovered well and will face late assessments.
Wolves
The visitors’ manager, Vítor Pereira, also has several selection headaches. He has major doubts over the availability of both Hwang Hee-chan (minor injury) and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (illness). Young striker Leon Chiwome also remains unavailable. In better news for Wolves, Toti Gomes is fit to return after an illness. Furthermore, Matt Doherty is also back in the squad, having recovered from wrist surgery.
Form
Sunderland: WDDWL
The Black Cats have made an excellent return to the top flight and currently sit ninth with 11 points. Their unbeaten home record (W2, D1) has been the foundation of their success. In fact, a victory here would give them their best start at home in a top-flight season since 1968-69. However, a 2-0 loss at Manchester United last time out did end their four-game unbeaten run.
Wolves: LLDDD
Wolves remain the only Premier League side without a victory and, as a result, sit bottom of the table. They have, however, shown signs of life by securing draws in their last two games against Tottenham and Brighton. A worrying trend has emerged, though, as they have taken the lead in their last three league games but failed to win any of them.
Predicted Lineups
Sunderland predicted XI: Roefs; Hume, Mukiele, Ballard, Masuaku; Rigg, Xhaka, Le Fée; Talbi, Isidor, Adingra
Wolves predicted XI: Johnstone; Tchatchoua, S. Bueno, Krejčí, H. Bueno; Munetsi, André, J. Gomes; Arias, Strand Larsen, Hwang
