Marco Silva hopes Kevin’s first goal for Fulham proves to be a turning point for the Brazilian winger.
Kevin added a late third for the Whites as they came from behind to beat Championship side Middlesbrough 3-1 and secure a place in the FA Cup fourth round.
Signed during the summer for a club-record fee, Kevin has taken time to adjust to life in England.
“I think the way the team-mates celebrated with him, and the fans – very important for him,” said Whites boss Silva.
“If you are an offensive player, you need these types of moments to be decisive, or with assists, or with the goal.

“Before, in some games, he had some good chances. He didn’t score. Against Chelsea he had a very good moment as well and didn’t score. Even in this game, he had a shot before his goal.
“I hope that can help him to be more confident in that last moment, last decision, because we need him.”

Harry Wilson’s brilliant form continued. The Welshman equalised soon after coming on as a substitute and set up Kevin’s goal.
“What an assist from Harry Wilson. What a brilliant moment from Harry Wilson again,” Silva declared.
