Everton table Angelo Preciado bid as salary proposal made to Sparta Prague star

Everton have launched a £7.5million bid as they attempt to sign Sparta Prague right-back Angelo Preciado, according to Safak Malatya.

The Play Spor journalist took to X on 19 July to state that the Toffees have also made a salary proposal to the Ecuador international.

The 26-year-old has been offered annual wages of 2.11million by the Merseyside outfit and he wants to move to Goodison Park.

Malatya wrote: “The British have stepped in for Preciado. Everton’s offer to the club for Preciado is £7.5M + Bonuses. They offered the player an annual salary of €2.5M . Preciado is insistent on Everton.”

Everton must now negotiate personal terms with Angelo Preciado

As an initial bid and salary proposal are made, it’s time for the club to sit down with the right-back and his representatives to negotiate personal terms.

At 26, he’s in his prime years and brings a wealth of experience from playing in top European leagues.

His versatility as a right-back and his ability to contribute to the attack makes him a perfect fit for Sean Dyche’s style of play.

Preciado’s defensive capabilities, combined with his pace and technical skills, allow him to effectively manage the right flank, providing support in both defence and attack.

His experience in high-pressure games, including the Copa America, has honed his skills in dealing with tough opponents.

Moreover, Preciado’s eagerness to join the Toffees shows his commitment and determination to succeed at the club.

His leadership qualities and strong work ethic could prove to be a positive influence in the dressing room, helping to foster a winning mentality among the team.
