CeeDee Lamb Says There’s ‘Room For Improvement’ With Dak Prescott

One of the more impressive showings in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL regular season came from the Dallas Cowboys, who had been surrounded by negativity throughout the entire offseason.

Superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was in limbo for most of the offseason as one of many players of his caliber who wanted to sign a lucrative long-term contract extension.

Although it took a long time to complete, much longer than many anticipated, Lamb started his season with his future secured and a lot of money in the bank.

Lamb didn’t get in the end zone in Week 1 on the road against the Cleveland Browns but caught five passes for a game-high 61 receiving yards, helping the Cowboys earn the victory.

Heading into Week 2, Lamb talked about his rhythm and timing with quarterback Dak Prescott, who also recently signed a contract extension, and said the duo needs to improve on that moving forward.

“There wasn’t much of a drop-off, but obviously there was room for improvement. We got better this week, and it should be on display this Sunday,” Lamb said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

With these two stars among the best players at their respective positions in the NFL, there’s no doubt they’ll improve as a quarterback-wide receiver duo, which is a scary thought for opposing defenses.

The Cowboys looked like one of the best teams right out of the gate in Week 1 and will try to keep that momentum going in Week 2 at home against the New Orleans Saints.
