The Villans have been very active in this summer window so far and they are willing to sign more players with Champions League football looming.
Unai Emery wants to add at least one more defender, with their Brazilian centre-back Diego Carlos is currently being linked with Fulham regarding a move away from Villa Park.
The Premier League outfit have identified Colombian second-tier side Orsomarso’s teenage defender Mosquera as a promising talent.
And it has been suggested that they have already approached Orsomarso for the Colombia Under-20 international.
Mosquera joined the Colombian outfit in January and Aston Villa are currently in talks to finalise a deal for the defender.
He is being seen as a player for the future as the teenager could be loaned out to Aston Villa’s sister club Real Union.
The Villans want the teenage defender to have enough first-team minutes under his belt and ensure his development.
