Baltimore Ravens Pass Rusher Out Against Kansas City Chiefs

On Thursday night, the Baltimore Ravens will kick off the NFL’s regular season against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Ravens will be short a pass rusher, and they could be without a running back for the matchup with last season’s Super Bowl champs.

The Ravens were knocked out of January’s playoffs by the Chiefs in a 17-10 game in Baltimore. The Ravens are hoping their new roster can best the Chiefs in the playoffs this season. Thursday night’s test will give the Ravens a chance to see how they stack up against one of the AFC’s best.

Rasheen Ali is doubtful to play the Kansas City Chiefs

Per the Ravens’ injury report, two players are dealing with injuries in Week 1. Rookie running back Rasheen Ali is listed as doubtful for the contest. The Ravens selected Rasheen Ali in the fifth round of this year’s draft. He’s dealing with a neck injury.

Ali rushed ten times for 26 yards in the preseason. He added one reception in the passing game for four yards. The Ravens plan to use Derrick Henry as their starting running back. Justice Hill is the Ravens’ RB2. John Kelly is the Ravens practice squad running back.

The Baltimore Ravens rule out Adisa Isaac

Per the Ravens injury report, rookie pass rusher Adisa Isaac has been ruled out Thursday night’s game. Isaac is dealing with a hamstring injury. The Ravens selected Isaac in the third round.

Isaac is behind Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo on the depth chart.

The Chiefs ruled one player out against the Ravens. Wide receiver Marquise Brown will not play Thursday night due to a shoulder injury he sustained in the preseason.
