Bears GM Doesn’t Hold Back His Thoughts About Current Roster

The Chicago Bears have one of the most improved rosters in the league this season.

GM Ryan Poles deserves plenty of credit for the moves he was able to make on both sides of the field, particularly on offense.

However, this goes beyond the talent.

When asked about his roster, the young executive raved about the fact that they actually like each other and enjoy one another’s company (Via The Athletic).

That may sound obvious or simple, but it can actually take a team a long way.

You need to care about your teammates, and that often separates good teams from great ones.

The Bears closed the prior campaign on a high note defensively, and that’s always been Matt Eberflus’ expertise.

Now, with a promising quarterback behind center and a plethora of playmakers around him, this team might be able to make some noise out of the NFC North Division for the first time in years.

There could also be some setbacks.

Rookie quarterbacks always experience growing pains while they go through a learning curve.

Even so, for the first time in years, this is an exciting team to root for the Bears.

Williams has looked the part in his limited action in the preseason, and if he’s anything close to the player scouts thought he could be in his first season, this team will be very entertaining to watch this year.
