Boston Celtics Unintentionally Leaked Their Surprise Party Destination After Winning the 2024 NBA Championship

It’s party time for the Boston Celtics after they won their record 18th NBA championship, and they have inadvertently revealed where they plan to celebrate their title.

According to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer and ClutchPoints’ Tomer Azarly , the Boston Celtics are about to party in Miami, as “Noon FLT to Miami” was written on their big whiteboard in their locker room.

“They say not to report what you see on the whiteboards when media is allowed into locker rooms… but written in black sharpie here in TD Garden’s home dressing room, now doused in champagne: “Noon FLT to Miami” Jake Fischer wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Miami Heat supporters will not be happy to hear this news since the Boston Celtics ended their playoff run this year in five games during the first round, especially since franchise player Jimmy Butler didn’t play after injuring his knee in the play-in tournament.

Boston Celtics’ Banner No. 18 was 11 years in the making

The Boston Celtics’ path to winning their latest championship started when they let go of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in exchange for draft picks that turned into Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

Brown and Tatum have had their share of playoff battles throughout their seven years together, and after coming up short multiple times, the stars have finally aligned for them to be called NBA champions.

Boston Celtics GM Brad Stevens deserves a ton of credit for revamping their roster throughout the years by bringing back Al Horford and trading for Derrick White , Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis, even if it meant losing the likes of Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart, Malcolm Brogdon, Grant Williams, and Robert Williams III.

Jaylen Brown won the Finals MVP trophy, averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game against the Dallas Mavericks in the Finals. His co-star Jayson Tatum averaged 22.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.
