One of the best wide receivers in all of football got paid on Monday morning, with the Dallas Cowboys agreeing to a historic contract extension with pass-catcher CeeDee Lamb. The two sides agreed to an extension worth $136 million over the next four years, with a $38 million signing bonus. That bonus is the largest that has ever been given to a wide receiver in NFL history.
Now that Lamb has finally gotten paid and his contract dispute is in the rearview mirror, we turn our heads to the San Francisco 49ers and the Cincinnati Bengals, a pair of teams who are currently in negotiations with some of their top players. Brandon Aiyuk and Ja’Marr Chase, come on down to the table.
Once Lamb’s deal got inked on Monday, NFL fans took to social media to start speculating about both Aiyuk and Chase, a pair of players who have been holding out in hopes of a new deal. Here are some of the top reactions that we saw:

While Aiyuk continues to hold out in hopes of a new deal, Chase did return to practice over the weekend while he waits for a new contract extension. After seeing what Lamb got paid in Dallas, I’m sure that both receivers are happy about what may lie ahead for them as well.
