Browns GM Reveals A Moment He’s Looking Forward To In 2024

The Cleveland Browns enter the 2024 season with several significant questions about their roster.

One of the most pressing is Deshaun Watson’s health and overall availability, given the team’s investment in him.

Watson was an MVP candidate during his time with the Houston Texans but hasn’t gotten back to that place on the Browns.

While fans wait to see how Watson will perform this year, the Browns find themselves in another tough situation with Nick Chubb, their top running back.

Chubb suffered a major knee early in the 2023 season, an immediate cause for concern for his future with the team.

A knee injury of this magnitude can be tough for anyone to recover from, but it has proven to be especially difficult for older running backs.

Chubb, 28, seemingly has just a few years left in the NFL, if recent track records are any indication.

Despite his age and injury history, however, the Browns remain committed to him as their top option.

GM Andrew Berry recently discussed this, as shared by Around The NFL on Twitter.

“One of the moments that we’re all most looking forward to is the first time he runs out of that home tunnel for his debut of the 2024 season,” Berry said.

Berry’s comments indicate that Chubb is still beloved within the locker room and that the team is cheering him on when he makes a full recovery from his injury.

They have heavily relied on him in their rushing attack in recent seasons and will look to continue that trend in 2024 when he’s healthy.
