Browns Release Lengthy Injury Report

The Cleveland Browns had a long list of players on their injury report Wednesday leading up to their matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. However, they also had some positive news come out of the report, as offensive tackle Jack Conklin returned to practice.

Conklin missed Week 1 for the Browns with a knee injury, and while his status for Sunday is still uncertain, it is promising to see him at least returning to the field.

One disappointment was Jedrick Wills’ absence from the practice field with a knee injury after head coach Kevin Stefanski claimed that he expected Wills to be on the field. Another disappointing, but expected, absence was tight end David Njoku, who is already confirmed to be out for Week 2.

Aside from Wills and Njoku, the only other player to miss practice for Cleveland was cornerback Myles Harden, who is dealing with a shin injury. The remaining nine players on the report either practiced in-full or were limited.

On the other side, Jacksonville only had three players listed on their injury report. Their only absence was cornerback Tyson Campbell, which could end up being a crucial loss for Jacksonville.

Both sides are looking to pick up their first wins of the season after losing in Week 1. For Cleveland, the spotlight will be on quarterback Deshaun Watson as fans hope to see their quarterback improve after a disappointing performance against the Dallas Cowboys last week.

The Browns and Jacksonville will face off at 1 P.M. EST on Sunday.
