The Cleveland Browns have signed veteran offensive tackle Chim Okorafor today following a private workout in June. The team continues to add quality depth pieces to its 90-man roster heading into training camp this week.
Okorafor is a 6’5.5”, 315-pound right tackle who just finished his UFL season with the Michigan Panthers. He attended Benedictine College in Kansas where he was a standout and NAIA All-American on the offensive line as a senior.
He was invited to rookie minicamp with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 but ultimately ended up not making the team. Following his short time with the Eagles, he was drafted in the 9th round by the UFL’s Michigan Panthers. He started multiple games at offensive tackle for the team during the 2023/2024 season and was a valuable member of the offensive line room throughout his time there.
Source confirms that Michigan Panthers OT Chim Okorafor will sign with the #Browns, who intended to sign him after a great workout earlier this summer.
Last summer Okorafor was developing under Jeff Stoutland in Philly — now he goes to training camp in Cleveland.

Though he’s gotten reps at offensive guard throughout his career, it seems like he’ll be working at offensive tackle with Cleveland.
