Browns WR Amari Cooper not present for mandatory minicamp

The Cleveland Browns were without their WR1 for the start of mandatory minicamp after Amari Cooper did not show up.

Cooper is entering the final year of his contract with Cleveland.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski told media Tuesday that Cooper’s absence is “not excused”.

Cooper, who led the team in receiving yards last season, may be subjected to fines, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
