Although the 2024-25 season has been a nightmare for the Boston Bruins, they have had some bright spots. Morgan Geekie is certainly one of them, as the 26-year-old forward has hit another new level this season after breaking out with Boston last year.
Geekie is only continuing to stay red-hot as the Bruins charge to the end of the season, too. In his last 10 games, the Strathclair, Manitoba native has scored seven goals and recorded 13 points. With this, he now has a career-high 51 points in 73 games this season.
Due to his extremely hot stretch of play, Geekie is now closing in on a major single-season milestone. The 2017 third-round pick only needs to score one more time to hit the 30-goal mark for the first time in his career.
Boston Bruins‘ brutal 2024-25 season is finally nearing its conclusion. The Original Six club has only four games left before their very important off-season begins.
If Geekie hits the 30-goal mark, it would be a great way for him to end his season, especially when noting that he struggled during the early stages of it. He has some time to do so, too, as the Bruins still have four more games remaining before their campaign is complete.
It will be very interesting to see if Geekie can score one more goal to hit No. 30 for the season. With the way he is playing right now, it is hard to bet against him.
