West Ham United were one of the busiest clubs this summer as they added many top talents to their squad.
Their transfer activity also continued on the deadline day as they sealed a transfer for Carlos Soler.
The 27-year-old has joined the Hammers on loan with an obligation to buy next summer.
The Premier League outfit will have to pay around €20 million to make his move permanent next year.
Soler looked to be very happy to join West Ham as he posted the following message on his Instagram:
“I’m here. Let’s enjoy together. COY!”
Carlos Soler is expected to be a success at the London Stadium as he boasts experience and has a lot of potential.
He started his career with Valencia where he made 226 appearances and won the Copa del Rey in 2019.
The Spaniard then landed a move to PSG in the summer of 2022 and collected two Ligue 1 titles and a Coupe de France there.
The 27-year-old can perform a variety of roles but mainly operates as a central midfielder. He is highly rated for his blocking, passing and ability to hold onto the ball.
West Ham finished a lowly ninth in the Premier League last season, and they will be looking to make a comeback in 2024-25 under new boss Julen Lopetegui.
The Hammers have had a mixed start to the new campaign so far as they lost to Aston Villa before beating Crystal Palace last weekend.
They are now set to face a huge test this Saturday when they welcome Manchester City to the London Stadium.
