Samuel Chukwueze has been nominated for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for January 2026.
The Cottagers have released a shortlist featuring thirteen goals in contention for the monthly prize, with the Nigeria international’s strike against Brighton & Hove Albion earning a place among the nominees.
Chukwueze’s goal came in his first appearance following international duty with the Super Eagles at the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations as Fulham staged a comeback to secure a 2-1 victory over the Seagulls at Craven Cottage.
With eighteen minutes remaining, the winger drew Fulham level with a composed and clinical finish after latching onto a sublime pass from Joachim Andersen.
The Danish defender lofted a perfectly weighted ball over the Brighton defence to meet Chukwueze’s intelligent run, and the AC Milan loanee calmly opened his body to guide the ball into the far corner.
In his quest to claim the award, Chukwueze faces competition from eight other Fulham players, including Tom Cairney, Jade Bradley, Harrison Reed, Aaron Loupalo-Bi, Kevin, Farhaan Ali Wahid and Harry Wilson, who leads the field with four nominations.

A deadline-day arrival from AC Milan last summer, Chukwueze has made an immediate impact in the Premier League, registering seven goal involvements in eleven appearances since joining the club.
