The Detroit Pistons already punched their ticket to the 2026 NBA Playoffs.
At this point, they are only defending their stance as the Eastern Conference’s top seed. While getting an opportunity to play the eighth seed is the position they want to be in, staying healthy is just as important.
At this stage of the year, the Pistons have two key players dealing with extended absences in Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stewart. They can’t afford any more.
On Saturday, March 28, the Pistons are paying a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The All-Star Jalen Duren is managing a minor right knee injury. He’s been on the injury report lately, but the Pistons haven’t held him out as a result. He was initially questionable against the Wolves, but Detroit’s medical staff is optimistic about his playing status on Saturday.
Harris and Thompson were in a similar position. The initial status was questionable, but now they are upgraded to probable.

Those who are out in doubt: Cade Cunningham (Out), Isaiah Stewart (Out), Bobi Klintman (G League), Isaac Jones (G League), Wendell Moore Jr. (G League), and Duncan Robinson.
After getting scratched from the last game, Duncan Robinson is still considered questionable as of Saturday afternoon. The veteran sharpshooter is dealing with a right hip strain.
Following the Pistons’ recent outing against the New Orleans Pelicans, JB Bickerstaff publicly claimed that Robinson’s setback isn’t too concerning. However, the team wants to remain as cautious as possible with his health. He could be a game-time decision in Minnesota.
The guaranteed players: Marcus Sasser and Caris LeVert.
They are on the injury report, but have been upgraded to available. Sasser is dealing with a right hip strain. LeVert is battling right knee tendinopathy. Despite the concerns, they will push through.
The Pistons and the Timberwolves are set for a 5:30 PM ET tip on Saturday.
