The Phoenix Suns have two of the best scorers in the game right now.
That tandem of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant is borderline unstoppable, scoring-wise, and while they haven’t been able to go the distance in the NBA, they were both more than deserving of a spot on Team USA’s roster for the Olympics.
That’s particularly true for a living legend like Durant, who’s now become the all-time leading scorer in the Olympics, passing fellow American Lisa Leslie.
With that in mind, his Phoenix Suns teammate claimed that he’s officially reached ‘Captain America’ status (via NBC Sports & ClutchPoints).
"That's Captain America status. I feel like he has every Olympic record. Now we have to get him his fourth gold… Now that we're teammates [on the Suns], I get to see [his hard work] behind the scenes."

Booker claimed that it seems like Durant now owns every Olympic record, and he was humbled by getting the opportunity to be his teammate there and with the Suns.
LeBron James and Anthony Edwards have stolen most of the headlines thus far and for very good reasons.
But even if he hasn’t always been their go-to guy, Kevin Durant has officially become the one, true, and only Captain America, at least until proven otherwise.
Who knows? Perhaps he might even be there in four years to keep adding to his personal tally.
