The Chicago Bears have locked up a key piece of their offense on Tuesday, a few days before the preseason starts. Per multiple reports, the Bears and wide receiver DJ Moore have agreed to a four-year extension, worth $110M and $82.6M guaranteed.
The deal was done on Tuesday with Moore’s agent Drew Rosenhaus in attendance at Halas Hall.
The 27-year-old Moore is coming off a career-year in 2023, his first as a Bears player after the team traded for him back in March of 2023. He finished the year with 96 receptions for 1,364 yards and 8 touchdowns. He’s the Bears No. 1 receiver in an offense that features Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze, Gerald Everett, Cole Kmet and quarterback Caleb Williams.
Locking up Moore ensures the Bears will have a true No. 1 receiver for Williams for at least the next four seasons.
