Death, taxes, and fights at training camp.
Every team across the league will have at least one scuffle during their respective training camps, and the Pittsburgh Steelers have now had theirs.
During team drills, quarterback Justin Fields took off on a read option and was hit by linebacker Elandon Roberts. The hit caused Fields to flip to the ground, which rookie Mason McCormick wasn’t fond of. He stuck up for his quarterback and gave Roberts a shove, which then led to both the offense and defense converging in a scuffle.
Big scuffle ensures here. Elandon Roberts hits Justin Fields on a read option and Fields flips to the ground.
Mason McCormick didn’t like it and pushed Roberts from behind. Chaos ensued from there.

Everyone cooled off ahead of the end of practice and the steam of the moment seemed to have died down, so all’s well ends well for the Steelers on Wednesday in Latrobe.
