Despite what some people expected, the Golden State Warriors haven’t committed any massive trades during the offseason.
They have, however, lost one of their most important players when Klay Thompson signed a deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
That has many people wondering what next season will look like for Golden State.
According to Evan Sidery, the team’s current projected rotation features Steph Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, and Draymond Green as the starters.
Meanwhile, De’Anthony Melton, Buddy Hield, Moses Moody, Kyle Anderson, and Trayce Jackson-Davis will be the team’s second unit.
As noted by Sidery, it’s clear that the team’s young core is getting much more responsibility in the new season.

It’s important to remember that Sidery said this is the “projected” rotation for 2024-25.
That means head coach Steve Kerr and his staff might change their minds and make some adjustments.
Additionally, the team could still add more talent.
For example, there have been a slew of rumors saying the Warriors want Lauri Markkanen, currently of the Utah Jazz.
But if that doesn’t happen, this may be what the Warriors look like next season.
Is this the sort of team that could return to the playoffs?
While there is some strong, up-and-coming talent listed, this team might not have what it takes to come out of the crowded and competitive Western Conference.
What happens if Curry or Green get hurt for an extended amount of time?
Can the young stars carry the team or will they struggle to reach the Play-In Tournament?
The Warriors are putting their plans for next season together, but how much success will they find?
