Jermaine Burton discusses working with Joe Burrow and falling to the Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals filled quite a few holes on the roster this offseason in both free agency and the NFL draft.

Cincinnati drafted Jermaine Burton in the third round of the draft to help compete for the WR3 position.

With both Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase not in attendance, Burton has had an opportunity to get a ton of work in with Joe Burrow over the past few weeks.

“He’s the guy, so it’s whatever he feels on a lot of details and splits and adjustments on certain coverages, a lot of stuff like that,” Burton said. “As long as you can just hone in and pay attention to the little details, I think you’ll have a successful time with Joe Burrow.”

Burton also made it clear he’s very happy to have landed with Cincinnati.

Burton joins Andrei Iosivas and Charlie Jones as the young receivers in the room as the team hopes those three can work into the Tyler Boyd role.

The Alabama rookie was a star for the Crimson Tide, and some believe the steal of the draft for Cincinnati.
