Kevin Durant Admits That He Doesn’t Like 1 NFL Team

The NFL season got underway on Thursday night when the Kansas City Chiefs escaped with a 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game and set the stage for what should be another storybook season of football.

The Washington Commanders could surprise some fans this year after drafting Heisman winner Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick, and one of their biggest fans, NBA superstar Kevin Durant, recently revealed which team he hates heading into this season.

Durant appeared on Up & Adams with Kay Adams recently and when asked which team he would get rid of if he could, Durant quickly said the Cowboys, saying “I just don’t like them. I had to ask myself why don’t I like the Cowboys because I don’t hate any teams or any players…but the Cowboys are that one team that I just don’t like.”

Durant said it bothers him that so many people from his hometown of Washington D.C. turned into Cowboys fans as well, which just made him hate the team even more.

He added that none of those fans are welcome back after Jayden Daniels elevates the Commanders back to greatness again.

The Cowboys are heading into a pivotal year with head coach Mike McCarthy and quarterback Dak Prescott both in the final years of their contracts, but vibes are high with the Commanders due to Daniels, a new coaching staff, and new ownership.

Fresh off another Olympic gold medal, Durant could be in for a fun NFL season as well.
