Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns has played against some of the biggest names in NBA history, but he has also learned to admire them.
Just because he’s a tough competitor doesn’t mean Durant doesn’t also want to play with some of the people he battles against.
A new video shared by Boardroom and ClutchPoints, per NBACentral, shows Durant listing his perfect starting five.
Unsurprisingly, Durant put himself on the list, along with Luka Doncic and Klay Thompson of the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, and Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers.

These are five of the most well-known players in the league and they are all supremely talented.
Still, it’s somewhat surprising to see him choose them.
It’s particularly surprising because this list lacks many of Durant’s former teammates.
He used to play with Thompson when he was with the Warriors but everyone else on here has never been on a team with Durant.
He chose these men over others like James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, and other superstars he has grown close to.
This list might be a bit controversial with some people but it’s a great collection of incredible NBA icons.
If this team was ever truly compiled, it would be one to fear as long as everyone on the roster could stay healthy.
Durant is currently with the Suns but there have been a few rumors of him possibly leaving in the next few years if things don’t get better in Phoenix.
That means he might play with some of these stars before his time in the league is over.
