Kevin Durant has a great sense of humor and he is not going to shy away from making jokes. In a recently uploaded Instagram story, the 2x NBA champion shared a viral move from the rookie Oso Ighodaro. The video played one of the viral NBA moments where the Suns’ rookie was spotted doing his ‘left leg takeoff’ against the Orlando Magic.
Finding his form pretty amusing, Durant could not resist letting his hilarious side take over. “I’m sorry Oso, I wasn’t familiar with the left leg takeoffs,” Durant wrote on his Instagram story. Now, while this was clearly a joke, Ighodaro has been quite effective with his dunk. In fact, in the game against Magic, the rookie successfully executed his left leg takeoff to pull off a poster dunk.

As a matter of fact, the form of Ighodaro has been going viral since the start of the season. Looking at his shooting stance, the critics and fans quickly pointed out how uncomfortable it looked. They also criticized his release, which allegedly lacks fluidity. Now, going back to Kevin Durant, the 2014 NBA MVP recently shunned down a fan in his own, sarcastic manner.
Kevin Durant Criticizes Fan Who Called Him Out For Sports Betting Platform Promotion
Durant recently collaborated with the sports betting platform FanDuel. However, after the Suns’ star posed for the cover of FanDuel, one particular fan called him out for duality. The fan pointed out how Durant has been asking fans to stop gambling, and now, he himself is promoting the idea.
Such a stern statement did not sit well with Durant. He immediately took to his X account and answered back to the fan in his own style. “No, I tell you to stop complaining about this life that you have committed to. When you lose, there’s finger pointing. When you win, there’s gloating about how smart you are about seeing the future. No gratitude to the service workers like myself. I’m sick of it,” said Durant.

Durant opined that the fans must always be vigilant while placing the bets. The Suns’ star also mentioned how the fans did not place intelligent bets and instead blamed the players for failed bets. Now, with Durant taking shots on social media, it remains to be seen if he can keep up with the same intensity in his on-court performances as well.
