Leon Rose and the New York Knicks have finally gotten all the Villanova guys back together.
What started out as a joke and wishful thinking ended up being true.
According to a report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks have traded for Mikal Bridges, reuniting him with fellow Wildcats Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo.
The Nets got a massive haul in return for Bridges, who went for Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via Bucks, an unprotected pick swap, and a second-round pick.

This move allows the Nets to finally recoup some draft capital ahead of a stacked class of 2025, all while sending Bridges back with his best friends.
Bridges, Brunson, and DiVincenzo played together in college, and they coexisted with Hart there for a couple of seasons.
The Knicks had already gotten a big glimpse of the unmatched chemistry they had on and off the court, and it clearly paid off.
Now, we’re looking at a team that will potentially have three outstanding defensive players on the court with Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Mitchell Robinson, with Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle rounding out the starting five.
Bridges is also a testament to durability, as he hasn’t missed a single game since high school and even played 83 regular-season games when traded by the Phoenix Suns, and Tom Thibodeau must be licking his chops after getting an Iron Man like him.
