Latest Zach Wilson update will make Jets fans laugh hysterically

As the New York Jets were locked in a very tight duel with Aaron Rodgers and the rival Pittsburgh Steelers, Tua Tagovailoa, Zach Wilson, and the Miami Dolphins were getting their behinds thoroughly rocked by the Indianapolis Colts. Things got so bad that the former Jets bust made his Dolphins debut in the most unceremonious way possible.

Tagovailoa was intercepted twice and didn’t reach 100 yards passing until he picked up some meaningless garbage-time stats at the end of the game that didn’t amount to much of anything. After just a few quarters, Wilson was already out there for Miami.

Wilson came into the game right after Tagovailoa finally found the end zone in what was a 33-8 drubbing at the hands of the Colts. Any snaps Wilson takes this year are a mark against Tagovailoa, much to the delight of Jets fans.

Former Jets QB Zach Wilson debuts for Dolphins in pathetic Miami loss

The Colts scored on each of their first seven drives, as Jones was in the zone all game long. Jones completed 22-of-29 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown pass, all while plunging in two more rushing scores. Jones looked like Peyton Manning against a deflated Dolphins defense.

Tagovailoa may have had the worst game of his career, as he was picked off twice on two throws that had no chance of being successful. Tagovailoa only moved the ball at the end of the game, when victory was assured. Wilson didn’t get the opportunity to impact the result, but any snaps he plays stand out as a major loss for Miami.

The Jets may not be a perfect team, but they can come out of Week 1 feeling much better about their overall outlook in Aaron Glenn’s debut season. McDaniel and the Dolphins, meanwhile, feel closer to blowing the whole thing up than they do to turning this squad into a winner.

Any loss for a divisional rival is good news for the Jets, and any time Wilson comes into the Dolphins game without a Tagovailoa injury is a sign that Miami has screwed things up to such a royally inept degree that it serves as pure comedy fuel for Jets fans.
