Los Angeles Clippers Linked to Two-Time All-Star as Potential Paul George Replacement

Now that Paul George has moved on to greener pastures, the Los Angeles Clippers have been left with no other choice but to retool. This could involve finding a potential replacement for the nine-time All-Star, which let’s face it, is going to be anything but easy.

One player who is now being linked to a move to LA to potentially fill the George void is Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls. He might not be at the same level as PG, but the All-Star shooting guard will certainly help the Clippers’ cause.

Los Angeles Clippers Linked to Zach LaVine

LaVine is one of the hottest names in the trade market right now. At this point, it appears that his time in Chicago has run out, and the Bulls seem intent on cashing in on the two-time All-Star now while they still can.

The issue, however, is that there does not appear to be enough interest on the market for LaVine — or at least not any that would meet Chicago’s asking price for the 29-year-old.

The Clippers could change all this. According to a report by NBACentral on X, formerly Twitter, LA has now emerged as a potential landing spot for LaVine.

It is unclear what type of offer the Clippers will be able to place on the table in a potential blockbuster deal, but you can be sure that LaVine won’t come for cheap.

His contract will potentially also have a significant impact on LA’s salary cap with the two-time All-Star expected to pocket roughly $138 million over the next three years.
