Manchester City are in talks to sell Oscar Bobb with a £35m offer on the table from a Premier League rival

Manchester City endured a miserable night in the Champions League on Tuesday as they were beaten 3-1 by Bodo/Glimt in a result that has dented their hopes of a top-eight finish.

Pep Guardiola’s side went 3-0 down to the Norwegian side before Rayan Cherki pulled a goal back just two minutes after the hosts had earned their three-goal advantage. However, any hopes of a City comeback were extinguished when Rodri picked up two yellow cards in as many minutes and was sent off.

City have been busy in the transfer window with the arrivals of Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo. However, the duo were not able to feature on Tuesday because UEFA rules do not permit new signings to be registered until after the league phase.

With the focus being on incomings this window, City are also looking to offload some players.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, they are in talks with Fulham about a deal for Oscar Bobb. The West London outfit have a £35m offer on the table as they look to beat some of their Premier League rivals to the player’s signature.

Romano said: “Fulham in talks to sign Oscar Bobb on permanent deal from Man City. Proposal around £35m on the table and being negotiated with MCFC. Borussia Dortmund remain keen since December, set to decide about bidding or not soon.”
