Kyle Busch is the driver that Stenhouse is referencing. He’s sitting third on the ‘crash rate’ side of the list.

For comparison, Auto Racing Analytics noted that Ricky Stenhouse Jr was at 35% on the crash rate side of the list and 12% on the terminal side.

Kyle Busch is currently having the worst season of his NASCAR Cup Series career since his debut season in 2005. His average finish in 2005 was 21st. Currently in 2025, it’s 18th. Busch is a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion with his most recent title claimed in 2019.
