The Green Bay Packers (and the Dallas Cowboys) are the talk of the football world right now following their successful trade for dangerous pass rusher Micah Parsons.
The former Penn State Nittany Lions star is now a Packer, after the Cowboys opted to send him to Green Bay instead of giving him the contract extension that he wanted. In exchange, the Packers sent veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark and a couple of future first-round picks (2026 and 2027) to Arlington. Green Bay then signed Parsons to a four-year contract extension worth $188 million.
The addition of Parsons to Green Bay changes a lot of things for the Packers. First and foremost, they got immensely better on the defensive side of the ball. Parsons is an incredibly talented quarterback hunter, who already has 52.5 sacks to his name despite having played in just four seasons in the NFL.
Rashan Walker has bad news for rest of NFL after Green Bay Packers’ Parsons trade
Parsons’ arrival in Green Bay has everyone in Packers nation hyped, including left tackle Rasheed Walker.
In fact, Walker appears to believe that the rest of the NFL is doomed, just by how Green Bay’s defense now looks.
“It’s over with lol,” Walker wrote in a post on X that shows SportsCenter’s breakdown of the Packers’ Parsons-infused stop unit.

The Packers were in the bottom half of the league in 2024 with a 22.1 percent defensive quarterback pressure rate per dropback, while Parsons comes over from a Dallas squad that ranked first in that department with a 30.1 percent pressure rate.

With Parsons, the Packers land a genuine defensive anchor that should strike fear on any Green Bay opponent going forward.
