Ravens Announce Lamar Jackson Injury Update Before Browns Game

The Baltimore Ravens are getting set to face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

They are 4-5 and have dealt with many injuries so far this season, including to star quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson sustained a hamstring injury in the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He then missed the Ravens’ next three games but returned in Week 9.

Jackson led the team to victories over the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings but popped up on the injury report again on Wednesday before facing the Browns.

This time, the Ravens called it a knee issue, and Jackson did not practice.

On Thursday, however, the Ravens had better news.

Jackson was seen at practice, and the Ravens confirmed that on the injury report.

Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and he is pivotal to the Ravens’ success.

In the three games without the two-time league MVP, the offense struggled, led by Cooper Rush.

Jackson was drafted 32nd overall in 2018, and in addition to his MVP awards, he’s a three-time, first-team All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler.

So far this season, Jackson has thrown for 1,249 yards, 15 touchdowns and one interception. He also has 35 carries for 216 yards and one touchdown.

Sunday’s game against the Browns is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
