Tom Brady Comparison For Lions Offense Should Scare The NFL

The Detroit Lions are arguably the best team in the NFL, even though the Kansas City Chiefs remain the only unbeaten team in the league.

Jared Goff has been one of the most consistent, if not the most consistent, quarterbacks in the league through the first nine weeks of play.

Evidently, Goff has the ability to be so consistent because of how much production their rushing attack of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs provides. Their balanced approach allows their entire offensive attack to be more consistent.

With a 7-1 record, the Lions are proving that their arrival was no fluke and they’re a legitimate Super Bowl-contending squad.

The NFC should be scared of Detroit, and the entire NFL received a warning on Wednesday.

Since joining FOX as a broadcaster, Tom Brady is honing his ability in the booth. One thing that can’t be questioned is the legendary quarterback’s football knowledge.

Brady joined “The Herd” with Collin Cowherd, a show on FOX, to break down the Lions’ offense. Cowherd asked the seven-time Super Bowl champion to draw a comparison from his era of football to the current Lions squad.

“I would say the early Colts offenses we faced,” Brady explained. “…They were so good, and I’m lucky I didn’t have to go against them.”

Brady explained that former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick told the team that the Colts were going to move the ball on them, and they spent three days focusing on red zone defense to prepare for the stacked Indianapolis teams of the past.

Both Brady and Cowherd detailed the sheer amount of talent the Lions hoist and how they’re going to move the ball because their offense has no real weaknesses.

On top of an abundance of talent, head coach Dan Campbell has established an incredible culture in Detroit to help turn the club around.
