Tyson Fury Makes It Clear Who He Will Make Comeback For: “Let’s Do It In Front Of 100k Fans”

Tyson Fury is currently retired, but may well come back for at least one more fight before he ultimately walks away from boxing for good.

It was in early January that former WBC ruler announced his latest retirement. That came just weeks after his second back-to-back loss to Oleksandr Usyk, who remains the only man to have beaten ‘The Gypsy King’ in the professional ring. The first win saw the Ukrainian become the first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis.

Fury’s retirement was a disappointment for many fans who had hoped he would have an all-British showdown with fellow former champion Anthony Joshua. However, he has retired a number of times before, but has so far always changed his mind and got back to winning ways in the ring.

In a post on Instagram, Fury revealed that a trilogy with Usyk is one fight he would make a return for – ‘Anytime, any place’.

“Beat the f***er two times and the world knows the truth. Anytime, any place sucker. UK next time, 100k people.”

Fury lost the first fight on a split decision with his standing eight count in the ninth round proving to be the difference. The second encounter saw Usyk take a unanimous decision on the cards in what was another close fight.

Right now, Usyk is focused on a rematch with Daniel Dubois on July 19 as he attempts to become a two-time undisputed world heavyweight champion.
