Nottingham Forest have seven Premier League games remaining, and they are still in the Europa League.
Vitor Pereira’s side are fighting for their top-flight status heading into the final month or so of the season, as they reside just three points above the relegation zone.
Nottingham Forest’s next league game is against Aston Villa next Sunday, but before that, they’re in action against Porto in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
As we enter the business end of the campaign, Pereira has just issued a statement to the Tricky Trees fanbase.

Vitor Pereira urges Nottingham Forest fans to stick together
Addressing the fans, Pereira urged the City Ground faithful to stick together, and he insists that the team will do everything they finish the season strongly.
“My message to the supporters is: you are our family, and as a family, in the hard times we need to fight together and we need to be together,” the Portuguese head coach stated.
“You are the essence of football and this club, and we will do everything to put a smile on your faces.
“The fans are fantastic. We thank you so much for coming here and supporting us, and we will do our best to keep making them proud.
“They have the quality and the character; we’ve just wanted to give them the confidence to play at the level that they can. We need the supporters to support them in the good and the bad moments.
“We’ll take it game by game and focus on the next game. We’ll go there to win the game. This is what we are: strong inside, ready to fight, ready to compete and do our best to win games and celebrate with our supporters.”
Interestingly, Pereira noted that Forest will be playing for the win when they travel to Porto next week, so perhaps that indicates they may be a bit more aggressive in their approach.
