With Klay Thompson now gone, the Golden State Warriors need to regroup and figure out how to keep a lot of their best core players together.
Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. recently spoke with the media about extension plans for multiple players.
One of those players is franchise legend Steph Curry.
“That guy can get whatever he wants…I think that stuff will get figured out and he’ll be a Warrior for life,” Dunleavy told ESPN’s Kendra Andrews.
Dunleavy says he’d like to find extensions for Kuminga and Moody. As for Curry’s extension, that’s also huge a priority.

Dunleavy also mentioned that he is looking to extend forward Jonathan Kuminga and shooting guard Moses Moody.
Curry is arguably the greatest shooter of all time, and that is putting it respectfully to all the other great shooters out there.
The 10-time All-Star and four-time NBA champion holds multiple NBA records, including the most three-pointers made (3,747), the highest free-throw percentage (min. 1,200 attempts; 91.0%), and the most three-pointers made in a season (2015-2016; 402).
He is one of the greatest players to have ever lived and has spent his entire 15-year career with the Warriors.
Judging by Dunleavy’s comments, it seems as though the organization and Curry are both on the same page and that an extension could happen at some point in time.
The 36-year-old point guard still has some mileage left and likely wants to finish his storied career in the Bay Area.
