The 2024 NFL season has not been kind to the New York Jets so far, and after their latest loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, fingers are beginning to get pointed at superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Despite the recent addition of Davante Adams, the Jets still came out on the wrong side of their Week 7 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they suffered a 37-15 loss on Sunday Night Football.
Time is running out for the Jets to turn things around, and Rodgers knows that. However, he isn’t panicking just yet, as he believes New York is capable of going on a playoff run. That belief, according to Rodgers himself, is all the Jets need in order to turn their season around.
“The power of belief is a snowball that can start an avalanche, and I think that’s what we need, and it starts with me.” – Aaron Rodgers, The Pat McAfee Show

Rodgers has certainly been in difficult situations before, and while things may not look great for the Jets right now, there’s still a lot of football left to be played this season. The AFC wild card race is wide open, so New York can still overcome this slow start to the new campaign.
In order to do that, though, they are going to have to play much better on both sides of the ball. The offense, led by Rodgers, needs to find a way to consistently score points, as they have several big name weapons who need to be consistently utilized. And defensively, finding ways to slow down their opponents is going to be crucial too.
It’s not going to be easy, but if it were easy, everyone would do it. Rodgers and the Jets will have a great shot to get back on track in Week 8, as they will face off against the lowly New England Patriots.
