Star Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown jumped to the top of two franchise milestones on the team’s first drive Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
The 25-year-old hauled in three passes for nine yards and a touchdown – coming on a unique fourth-down call – to give the Lions an early lead over their division rivals. In doing so, he surpassed 4,000 career receiving yards and extended his streak of games with a receiving score to six.

Playing in just his 57th career game, St. Brown reached the 4,000-yard mark faster than anyone in Lions history. He also became just the fourth wide receiver in NFL history to record at least 350 receptions, 4,000 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns in their first four seasons, joining Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Thomas.
Additionally, his six-game touchdown streak ties Herman Moore’s mark in 1994 for the longest in Lions history.
Lions fans won’t be surprised by St. Brown’s production at all but he continues to dominate week in and week out and is etching his name in the record books in the process.
The former fourth-round pick is on pace for his third consecutive 100-catch, 1,000-yard season and his second straight with double-digit touchdowns.
Since the start of the 2022 season, only five wideouts have more receiving yards than St. Brown, only four have more touchdowns and only two have more receptions.
If he continues that production, he’ll have a lot more opportunities for celebrations.
