Saints will now visit Fulham for their FA Cup fifth round tie at midday on Sunday, March 8, after the match was selected for TV broadcast.
The clash at Craven Cottage, for a place in the quarter-final of the country’s premier cup competition, has been given a 12pm kick-off.
The match will be shown live on TNT Sports and discovery+, while ticket details to attend as an away supporter will be confirmed in the coming days.
Tonda Eckert’s side have four consecutive aways, with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, February 28, and West Brom on Wednesday, March 11.
They will then head to Championship title hopefuls Coventry City on Saturday, March 14, which is a 12.30pm kick-off due to Sky Sports broadcasting.
Craven Cottage has provided mixed fortunes for Saints in recent seasons, although they have lost just twice in their last eight visits.
Those recent trips included 1-0 victories in both the FA Cup during the 2017/18 campaign and the Carabao Cup in 2019/20.
