Marco Silva being ‘discussed internally’ by another Premier League club

Former Everton manager Marco Silva is being linked with a move away from Fulham.

Marco Silva is out of contract at Craven Cottage at the end of the season, and there’s been no indication that he will renew his deal.

Nottingham Forest were reportedly keen to appoint Silva before they appointed Vitor Pereira on an 18-month contract.

Now, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that another Premier League club are considering him as their next manager.

Marco Silva being ‘discussed internally’ by Tottenham Hotspur

Igor Tudor, who only replaced Thomas Frank last month, could leave Tottenham Hotspur during the international break.

Romano, on X, has reported that Silva has joined Roberto De Zerbi on their shortlist to replace Tudor.

“Tottenham keep assessing internally best options for managerial situation to evolve in next days/summer,” the Italian journalist explained.

“Roberto De Zerbi, favourite candidate from June and Italian manager open to discuss from summer.

“Marco Silva also being discussed internally.”

It would appear that both Silva and De Zerbi aren’t open to joining until the end of the season, with Spurs battling to retain their Premier League status.

The former Everton boss has a good chance of qualifying for Europe with Fulham, so clearly his focus very much remains with the Cottagers.

Silva has also been linked to the Manchester United job, although Michael Carrick’s chance of penning a permanent deal are strengthening as the weeks go by.

Either way, the Portuguese boss will have plenty of suitors queuing up for his signature if he does decide to leave Fulham.
