With one year left on his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Joe Scally is widely expected to leave the Bundesliga club during the summer transfer window.
The US international already hinted at a summer departure in an interview with Bulinews back in May, saying:
“I love the club, but it’s no secret that I would love to experience something different at some point in my career. I think every player has their wishes and what they want to do.”
According to Bild, Scally is dreaming of a move to the Premier League and has “no future” at Gladbach, with the German tabloid’s report backed up by Kicker, who also reports that the 23-year-old is one of the players who could leave Borussia-Park.
Fussballdaten.de, meanwhile, reports that Fulham have made “indirect contact” with the player’s representatives to gather information about Scally’s contract demands.
The report also mentions Bournemouth as suitors, but neither Premier League club has made an offer for Scally yet, with Die Fohlen reportedly asking for around €10 million for the full-back.
