Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has been offered to Fulham, according to The Times.
The 19-year-old signed a new long-term contract with the Gunners last summer. He struggled for playing time during the first half of last season before joining Marseille on loan.
Nwaneri had a perfect debut for Les Phoceens with a goal against Lens, but his minutes were drastically reduced after the French side dismissed manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Nwaneri has been with the Gunners in pre-season training this summer, but reports claim that the club are open to parting ways with him. AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund are among those keen.
Fulham have also been offered his services. We believe a move to the Cottagers for Nwaneri would suit Arsenal.
Arsenal could benefit from Nwaneri’s switch to Fulham
The Cottagers suffered a huge setback this summer with Harry Wilson’s decision to join Leeds United on a free transfer. He was tremendous on the right wing with 10 goals and eight assists.
Fulham have sought to fill the void with a couple of attacking additions from Real Madrid. They have recently secured deals for striker Goncalo Garcia and versatile playmaker Cesar Palacios.
Palacios can operate as a left winger or a number 10, but the 21-year-old remains relatively inexperienced, with only seven senior club appearances and will need to adapt to the league.
This is why Nwaneri could prove a quality acquisition for the Cottagers. The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder by trade, but he has been more successful as a right winger for the Gunners.
He has accumulated six goal contributions in 19 outings on the right flank. His best spell came during his breakout season in 2024/25, where he provided good cover for the injured 
.
Nwaneri also impressed with his dribbling and quick feet from a wider role.
Arsenal want as much as £50 million for his exit, but there could be room for negotiation if a buy-back clause is included. A deal worth £30-35m with a £50-60m buy-back option would be ideal.
In that way, Nwaneri would secure valuable playing time, which he requires for his development, while Arsenal will have the option to retain his services if he makes the right progress.
Arsenal have a good working relationship with Fulham, having previously sold Bernd Leno and Emile Smith Rowe to the Cottagers. It won’t be a surprise if Nwaneri ends up joining them.
