West Ham vs Leeds United early injury news as 2 ruled out and 3 doubts

West Ham are back in action on Sunday, but we will have to wait for the resumption of their exciting race for survival. For now, attention will be on the FA Cup quarter-finals, and the Iron face a relegation rival in Leeds United for the opportunity of reaching the Wembley Stadium semi-finals.

The Hammers may also see this game as an opportunity to continue their recent momentum and to impact the momentum of a direct relegation rival in Leeds. While West Ham come into this one on the back of a Premier League defeat, Leeds drew their last game, picking up a point in a goalless draw with Brentford, and that could prove an important point.

Both sides will view this as a huge opportunity to land a Wembley appearance, and ahead of the game, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both teams coming out of the international break. Take a look below.

Gabriel Gudmundsson – Doubt

Gudmunsson will be assessed ahead of this one after picking up a knee issue.

Konstantinos Mavropanos – Doubt

Mavropanos missed the last Greece game due to a small injury. The rest will have done him good but he will need to be assessed.

Cysencio Summerville – Out

Santo said before the break: “We are assessing day by day. He is improving, but it is too soon to tell the exact date he will return. But hopefully, he returns and gives us a hand [during the run-in].” Summerville is likely to remain out for this one, with a return the following week the likely best hope.

Todibo will be assessed after picking up a calf strain but he should be okay to play here.

Fabianski is back in training but it is still unclear when he will return at this stage.
