Nottingham Forest have announced a fourth pre-season friendly as their summer plans continue to take shape.
Last week, the Reds confirmed they will head to Portugal for a 12-day training camp next month. During their time abroad, Vitor Pereira’s side will play three matches as part of their build-up to the 2026/27 campaign.
The club have now added a game against neighbours Notts County to their summer preparations. The clash at Meadow Lane will mark the start of Forest’s pre-season fixtures.

The friendly against the newly-promoted League One side will take place on Saturday, July 18. The game against Martin Paterson’s team will kick off at 3pm that day.
The last time the Reds faced the Magpies at their home ground was in 2023. Back then, Forest triumphed 1-0.
The Reds have been handed an allocation of 6,001 tickets (10 wheelchair positions located in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand) for the match at Meadow Lane. Forest fans will occupy 4,001 seats in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand and 2,000 in the Family Stand.
Tickets will go on sale to season card holders from 10am tomorrow (June 30) and on general sale at 10am on Wednesday (July 1). Tickets are priced at £15 for adults (aged 26 to 64), £12 for concessions (65+, 22-25 and students), £10 for young adults (aged 18 to 21), £7 for youths (12-17) and £2 for children (4-11).
The Reds have already confirmed they will take on Blackburn Rovers, along with Portuguese sides Vitoria de Guimaraes and Sporting Lisbon during their time in Portugal. The club say streaming details and information of Forest’s full pre-season schedule “will be confirmed in due course”.
